BISHOP CEDRIC A. ROBINSON
Bishop Robinson was born in St. Louis, Mo. and raised in Detroit, MI. He studied and received degrees from several leading colleges, universities and seminaries. He completed his undergraduate studies at Knoxville College from which he received the Bachelor of Science Degree for Business Management. From Central Michigan University he received a Master in Business Administration. While attending Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma, he received the Masters of Divinity and is currently writing his dissertation to complete the Doctorate Program for Post Secondary Administration. Bishop Robinson is also enrolled in Jacksonville Theological Seminary’s online program to complete his secondary Doctorate of Ministry.
Bishop Robinson has been in the preaching ministry for over twenty years, and currently serves as the Senior Pastor and Founder of Judah Tabernacle in Melvindale, MI. He is an Adjunct Professor teaching Humanities and Theology courses for Oakland Community College and teaches Algebra, Personal Finance, and Marketing at the Academy for Business and Technology High School in Melvindale MI.
Due to his academic pursuits, his educational and religious contributions, his social and evangelistic outreach involvements, Bishop Robinson has received numerous awards, certificates, and citations from the cities of Tulsa OK, Detroit MI, and Melvindale, MI.
Bishop Robinson is a loving and devoted husband to Lady Tonya Robinson and they are the proud grandparents of identical twin boys, Rafe and Jay, who are reared by their daughter and son-in-law, Synita and Rick Turner.
Bishop Robinson believes the missiological purpose of ministry is to nourish the homeless and to nurture the hopeless contending that “The real challenge in ministry is presenting a loving Jesus to insolvent and impecunious people.” Bishop Robinson is often found visiting the sick, serving the hungry, and ministering to those in need because he truly believes that Shepherds should smell like sheep. He preaches at any cost, teaches so none are lost, and heals through Jesus by way of the cross, all for the glory of God.
